When you have ended up in a problem regarding goods or services on the purchased online goods, the first thing that you have to do is to contact your trader and confirm the details of the item. Most of the problems get solved with this procedure, when you make sure that you have given the exact details of the complaint to the trader along with a time frame to sort out the problem.
If you can complain only by emails, it is better write the complaints down by furnishing the following details. In the complaint, take in the date of the advert, website and the date of the order. Secondly state the precise details of the product you have ordered and the amount you paid for it that includes mode of payment and the cost of shipping. Thirdly, put in plain words the reason of your complaint and the way in which you would like to work out the problem either by replacement or refund.
If no action is followed up by the trader, you can get in touch with a traders’ association for more help as they perform certain practices that can guide you to gain justice.
If the problem still persists, take the case to the court where it can be solved either by conciliation and mediation or arbitration. In the former, both the individual and the trader can introduce a third party and solve it by coming to some agreement. By the latter method, an independent expert will hear the version of both sides and end up with a conclusion in favour of the person who deserves justice. Though some trade associations take up such procedures that are inexpensive, it would not be reasonable. In such cases, the final step is more appropriate.
